super (duper) tuesday

I'm not going to tell you to remember to vote today. Chances are if you did not/are not going to vote today, it's not because you forgot. It's probably because you never registered. I don't think I've ever met anyone that registered AND forgot to vote. Instead, make this Super Tuesday the day you go register to vote for the real deal in November. Not too late for that ... if you're still not motivated, just imagine Mike Huckabee as your President for the next 4 years. Seriously though, go register.

On another note, usually the primaries don't matter in CA. They haven't for as long as I have been allowed to vote. This year it's different for a number of reasons primarily because some people realized that a woman, a black man, a Mormon, and a Vietnam vet were looking for a nomination. Independents can even vote in the Democratic primary. Except, you need to special request a Democratic primary ballot. And since I vote absentee and I didn't read carefully till late last week I don't get to vote in the primary. Booo ... our candidates for the upcoming November election will probably be decided by end of day today.

fo sheez. going to my polling place in a few hours.

wait so you're an independent that will vote democratic? no way, i always figured you were a republican.
